A Few Minutes Later
“Wake up!” a man with a coarse voice yells out.
Hatsumi opens her eyes as the man drags her out of the car.
“Where am I?” Hatsumi, still half asleep, looks around confused. The car has stopped in front of a huge house. Hatsumi stares at the edifice. It’s even bigger than the Fujiwara Mansion.
“Don’t just stand there. Come on, we don’t have all day,” the man who carried her to the car is now dragging her up the steps.
“Let me go! You’re hurting me!” Sumi struggles to release herself from his grip. “Let me go!”
The man takes out a gun and points it at her head. Hatsumi, terrified of the gun freezes.
“That’s more like it.” the man grins at Hatsumi and knock on the door.
An old lady answers, “Shujin-sama has been waiting for her. Please follow me,” The old lady leads them upstairs.
“Where are you taking me?” Hatsumi asks with a trembling voice.“Please, just let me go.”
The lady keeps walking without looking back. At the end of the hallway stood a huge door. She knocks and enters by herself. A few seconds later, she comes out saying, “He wants to see her alone.”
“He and me…ALONE!” she thought as the man with the coarse voice pushes into the room.
Hatsumi tries to resist, but the man is just too strong. Before she knows it, she’s locks inside the room. Hatsumi bangs on the door with all her strength, “Let me out! Let me out!” but no one would open the door. She turns around and sees a bed.
The room is beautifully decorated; it was a room fit for a king. Soon she realizes that someone has been watching her the whole time. Her first thought was to walk up to him and demand her release, but then she realized that he might have a gun. So instead, she stands still and looks at the ground.
The man begins to walks towards Hatsumi, and she begins to tremble. She can see his feet right in front of hers. He pushes her hair back and gently lifts up her chin. Their eyes meets. She expected to see an old man with receding hair. Instead, she finds a young man, probably in his twenties, standing in front of her.
He has jet black hair and dark mysterious eyes that can seduce any woman. “There’s something about him that’s really familiar,” she thought, but doesn’t say a word.
“Akanishi Jin desu.” His voice is deep yet gentle at the same time. “Nice to meet you.” he kisses Sumi’s hand.
Hatsumi pulls her hand away. “What do you want with me?” her voice is demanding, but her eyes were full of fear.
Akanishi gives her a grin for an answer.
“Don’t you know who I am? When Takaki-san finds me, you’ll be spending the rest of your life in jail!” Hatsumi yells out.
Akanishi moves close enough that she could hear him breathing, “You’re just his son’s fiancée. Let me see him try.” he whispers.
He gives her a peck on the lips and she smacks him across the face.
He looks at her with a grin, grabs the back of her neck, and starts kissing her forcefully. Hatsumi pounds at his chest with her fist, but he won’t let her go. He pushes her to the bed, pins her down and places himself between her legs. He lets her hand go as he unbuttons her shirts. He continues kissing her, first at the neck, then he continues to kiss her until his lips reaches her breast. Hatsumi struggles to free herself. She’s hitting him as hard as she can. His right hand pins her hands on top of her head, as the left creeps under her skirt.
“Stop!… Please!” Hatsumi cries as she begs him to stop. He kisses her again on the lips, and she faints.
Minutes later
Akanishi gets up and puts his shirt back on. He looks at Hatsumi sleeping in his bed naked. He sees necklace around her neck. The pendant is a single glass bead. He knows for sure that he has seen it before, but he can’t remember where or when.

Yuya’s Room
Yabu, Inoo, Shizuka and Yuya’s mom are sitting by the bed.
The TV is on. Yuya’s father is offering a reward of 456 million yen (5 millions US dollars) for anyone who can find Hatsumi.
“Where’s Sumi?” Yuya wakes up with a headache.
“We’re gonna find her,” Yuya hears Yabu trying to calm Shizuka who’s been crying the whole time.
Yuya jumps out of bed and heads for the door.
“Where are you going?” his mother gets up from her seat.
“I’m going to look for Sumi.”
“Yuya the doctor said your injury is pretty bad. Let’s leave the matter to the police. They’re doing their best to find her.” his mom grabs him by the arm trying to stop him.
“Well they’re not doing enough,” Yuya releases himself from her grasp and storms out the door.
Yabu and Inoo follows him outside.“Yuya!” Yabu calls out, but Yuya just keeps walking.
“Yuya, you’re putting yourself in danger,” Inoo catches up with him.
“Kei is right. Just let the police handle this. We’re dealing with dangerous people,” Yabu adds.
“The more reason why I should look for her. Sumi’s in danger right now!” Yuya raises his voice. “I won’t forgive myself if anything bad happens to her.” He gets in the car and races off.
Yabu and Inoo look at each other and get into Inoo’s car. They can’t just let Yuya do this by himself, especially not in his condition.

“Have you seen the news? They’re looking for her. She’s his son’s fiancée.”
“Don’t you think I know that?” Akanishi responds with a grin in his face.
“I want the girl back!” Fujiwara Kenji demands as he pounds Akanishi’s desk with both fists. “I need to bring her back or they’ll go after me.”
“We made a deal, remember? I pay your debts and, in return, you give her and the corporation to me.”
“The deal was; you sleep with her once, then you give her and the company back to me.”
“Change in plans. Besides, who said I’ve touched her?” Akanishi grins.
“Please, you have to give her back or Takaki Akira-san will have my head.”
“That’s you problem.” Akanishi gets up and looks out the window.
“What do you want with that girl? Women practically throw themselves at you. If you want a woman, I can give you as many women as you want. Just give her back to me.”
“Like you said, she’s his fiancée. I’m just collecting what they owe me.” Akanishi calls in the guards and orders them to take Kenji away.
“When they’re done with me, I’ll make sure they go after you!” Kenji yells out as the guards drag him towards the door.
Akanishi smirks and scoffs at Kenji’s threats, “Do you think I’m afraid of them? Go ahead. Tell Takaki Akira to find me. I want him to find me.”
Kenji has been dragged out of the building and into the streets.
Akanishi, alone in his office, is looking out the window. The girl’s necklace keeps flashing in his mind. He’s seen it before. Someone else was wearing it, but where? When? And who was wearing the necklace?

Jin’s Room
It’s already afternoon when Hatsumi wakes up naked in Jin’s bed. She gets up and sees her clothes scattered on the floor. She wraps the blanket around herself and clutches it tightly on her breast as she recalls he encounter with Jin. She gets out of bed slowly and begins to collect her clothes.
“Where are you going?” Jin’s wearing a bathrobe on the couch watching the news.
Hatsumi remains silent, “How dare he talk to me after what he did?” she thought as she clutches the blanket tighter.
“Your boyfriend’s looking for you.” Jin gets up from the couch and walks towards Hatsumi. He lifts her chin up so that they’re looking eye to eye.
“Your boyfriend’s looking for you.” Jin gets up from the couch and walks towards Hatsumi. He lifts her chin up so that they’re looking eye to eye.
Hatsumi turns her head away from him.
The tips of Jin’s fingers gently slide down her arm. “I bet he’s really missing you by now.” he says. Jin leans forward to kiss her.
She steps back and tries to slap him, but she fails.
He catches her hand and says, “Some things only work once.” Jin smirks and kisses her on the lips. He could feel her tremble as he draws her close.
“He’s gonna do it again.” she thought, but, instead, he lets her go.
Sumi wipes her lips with her right arm. “What do you want with me? I have nothing…” she yells out; then, she pauses. “I have nothing left…” she says in a low voice almost to herself.
“This isn’t about you,” Jin replies in a low voice. He turns to the TV. A mix of anger and pain filled his eyes. He wants to burst out and say, “This is about them!”, but he remains silent.
Yesterday’s scene of the Takaki Mansion is on the news. Though the gate, the camera caught Yuya arguing with Yabu and Inoo; then, storming off in his car.
“He’ll find me.” Hatsumi threatens Jin as she holds back her tears. “When he does, I’ll make sure you rot in prison!”
He looks her straight in the eyes, “Do you think he’d still want you? What…”
“He loves me!” Hatsumi cuts him off. “You don’t know Yuya!”
“Let’s say that he still would. His family has a great reputation to protect. Do you think his parents could accept you?” Jin replies.
Hatsumi remains silent. Her legs collapse. Her head hung low and her eyes are on the floor. She loathes him. Not just because of what he did, but also because she knows that what he said is true.
Jin squats down to her level. His face is just a few inches away from her’s. He can see her tears splashing on the floor. As he moves his hand to wipe her tears off, someone knocks on the door. Jin stops himself and turns his head.
A maid comes in, “Excuse me. Akanishi-sama, we’ve contacted him. He’s on the line in the other room.”
Jin turns to Sumi, “I guess we’ll have to continue this later." He turns around and leaves the room.
The TV is still on. Hatsumi can see Shizuka’s swollen eyes. Yuya, her restless Yuya looks as if he hasn’t slept in days. She flips though the channels. Every single one is broadcasting her abduction. There’s no point in holding it back now. “Why is this happening to me?” she thought as tears run down her cheeks.
Jin is standing by his desk wearing a black suit. He has a glass of wine in one hand as he talks to someone over the phone. “I’m glad we understand each other.” Jin hangs up.
A guy comes into the room, and yells out, “So you finally lost it, huh, Jin?” Another guy comes in and shuts the door.
The guys who just came in are Jin’s closest friends: Kamenashi Kazuya and Yamashita Tomohisa. Kamenashi is the CEO of the Kazuya Enterprises, while Yamashita is the Vice President of the Akanishi Corporation. Both men are notorious womanizers. Women young and old practically throw themselves at them.
“I mean, I know they owe you big time and they deserve everything you’re gonna throw at them, but the girl doesn’t have anything to do with it,” Kazuya bursts out.
“This is new. You being so angry because of some girl. Why do you care anyway?” Jin replies.
“Why do I care?!” Kazuya is really irritated by Jin’s response. Her parents died as year ago in a car accident. They were trying to avoid hitting my sister’s car. She survived, but neither of the her parents did. She had nothing left, but her dignity. Why did you have to take it from her?”
“Calm down, Kazuya,” Yamapi finally speaks.
“Calm down?! He’s messing up a innocent girl’s …”
Jin cuts him off, “I didn’t touch her.”
“What?” Kazuya asked confused.
“Nothing happened,” Jin replies with a straight face.
Yamapi smiles and asks, “You weren’t gonna touch her to begin, with were you, Jin?”
Jin smirks to confirm Yamapi’s question.
Kazuya asks, “So what do you need her for?”
“She’s the key to the plan,” Jin replies. Kame just looks at him confused.
Yamapi answers for him, “Don’t you see? She’s the one who will make Takaki-kun feel what it’s like to lose a love one. The best part is, Takaki Akira will have front row seat to watch his beloved son suffer.” His voice had no trace of excitement. It was merely an explanation.
Yamapi turns to Jin, “Does she know who you are?”
“No,” he replies, “she doesn’t need to.
“You can’t hide it forever.” Kazuya says. “She’s bound to find out sooner or later.”
“It will be all over by that time.” Jin replies.
Takaki-san is having a meeting with a few government officials, when Yuya suddenly barges in. He throws today’s newspaper on his father’s desk. “Dad, what the hell is this?” he yells out.
Newspaper Headline:
Fujiwara Heiress’s Disappearing Act
…Yesterday, Police Commissioner Takaki Akira stopped the nationwide search for Fujiwara Hatsumi. Earlier today, he announce the she, in fact, had not been abducted…
“Yuya, now isn't the time,” his dad says trying to control his own frustration.
“I think NOW is the perfect time.” Yuya’s face is red with anger.
His father, knowing that Yuya wouldn’t leave until he gets an answer, dismisses the officials.
“Barging in her like some hoodlum. I know I thought you better than that!” his father says matching his anger.
Yuya points to the newspaper. “Explain this to me!” he yells out shaking with anger. “I saw her get kidnapped. I saw them drag Sumi away.”
“Shhh! Keep you voice down,” his dad whispers loudly. “Do you know what will happen if anyone finds out?”
“Find out what? The truth?” Yuya yells out irritated.
“This is bigger than you think…”
The secretary comes in and interrupts, “Gome… but the Mayor is waiting for you, Takaki-san.”
“I’ll be there in a second,” Akira replies.
Yuya turns to leave. His dad grabs a hold of his arm. “Don’t do anything stupid. Our family’s name is on the line.” Takaki-san looks Yuya in the eyes.
Yuya can’t believe what his father is saying. “How could he care more about the family’s reputation?” he thought. Yuya shakes off his father’s grip. “If anything happens to Sumi, you can forget you have a son,” he replies coldly and slams the door as on his way out.
“He’s gonna do it again.” she thought, but, instead, he lets her go.
